1st day in Korea!!

Hi all!! at last I manage to post the 1st day that I step on the Korea ground!!
It was really amazing, that time i really still cant believed that i in korea!! it was like a dream!!
After went out from the plane, me and others candidates went to take subway to the main arrival exit.
Ya, this is the arrival exit!! 3 language displayed and it is displayed on LCD plasma screen.

Here is the place to take our luggages!! what a huge place.. we almost lost!! hehe!!

Yup!! here are the candidates from Malaysia!! from left, Jacklyn, Alex, Ni Nyoman and LeX (me). Hehe we look great!!
And here are 20 candidates from Asean, included Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. They all look gorgeous !!

Then, we take bus to Daejeon University!! but the driver seat is on the left hand side of the Bus!! Interesting!!

In the bus, the 1 that i holded on my hand is the safety belt. The belt can be expand but in Malaysia dun have safety belt in the bus and if got usually the expandtion of the belt made near the seat but Korea, they made it on the head of the Belt!! hehe !! interesting!!

This was the 1st restaurant that we went for our lunch.

The 1st ever meal in Korea!! a small bowl of stiky rice, big bowl of beef soup, and 2 different kinds of KimChi!! quite nice!!
What is that? that is a a cup that made from recyclable papar.

and it can be open, they usually use this "cup" to drink plain water. Korea really toward to the environmental friendly world!! Another thing that i also know that, they even seperate all the rubbish to the differents dustbin as well as the leave over foods into special dustbin. HOHO!! really amazing!!

do you all see the Plasma TV? it is on the bus and it was live Baseball match!! Korean can watch Live sports with Plasma TV on bus!! The Bus even drove in 100Kmph and the match shown smoothly without lag!! My God!! Fanstatic !!

My 1st meal ever in Daejeon University with sticky rice, a bit of kimchi, Seaweed, Eags and a bowl of soup!!

This is the place that we have a drink after taken our meal. After the dinner, we take a walk around our dormitary.

We went to 7eleven shop, usually we buy thing from there although it quite expensive compare to downtown store.

We went to playground, and the playground with some special exercise equipments!!

we saw empty field.

and Baseball playing center. The baseball came out from the machine and we use the baseball stick to hit the ball!! Korean love to play there!!

and the last place we went was the "ManTou" shop or "Bao" shop. Korean Bao look like that. and it is quite different as well.

Well thats all, the 1st day in Korea. quite interesting, right?

My Comfortable Room in Korea, Daejeon University.

Hi! guys!
sorry for the such a late post. It is busy than I expected.
This can be consider my 1st day in Korea but this all about the room only.
The experienced of 1st day will be the next post, hopefully.

Here are the picture of my Korea Room!! what a wonderful room that i gonna stay for 9 months!!This is the door entrance of my room.

Inside there are two room,a wash room (leftest door)and small kitchen. my room is the room with door open.

Kitchen with a micro oven, Refrigerator and cupboard. There is a Window in rectangular shape ( a special window) !!
Wash room.

Actually it is quite a luxury wash room for me!! WOW!!

The room is fantastic!! i have my own room, with a high standard office chair ,fair desk size, some snacks & drinks for us on the table!! see it?very huge cupboard!! 3 Column!! wow!comfortable Bed with tight Blanket !!

Have quite a good view as well.. haha.
Air conditional too!!
The left side switch is light switch, the middle 1 is heater switch-we can adjust any temperature we want-the heater is all around the floor of the room- and the floor is made from wood and the right side is the air conditional switch. SO HIGH TECH!! In Malaysia we call it Hostel ( the place we live in campus) but in Korea they call it dormitory. The dormitory that i live is the brown colour building.

Malaysia Hospitality, Malaysia Airline!!

maHi all,
this days i'm quite busy with application of my Alien Card (foreigner ID card), Bank account card, deciding the course that want to be taken, Internship getting around in Daejeon City and also Campus.

Well talking about MAS, this time i wanna share some of my experienced in MAS airline.

This is the outside view of the plane through Plane window.


This is my MAS ticket and it worth RM1300 per way. This flight actually not directly to Korea Airport, this flight will land on KOTA KINABALU 1st before to Incheon International Airport.


This is inside of MAS plane, 2 seats at the Left and right side, 4 seats at the middle.


A Radio and TV audio at every seat in the plane. It got 12 channels, volume control button, service button, light switch, and TV audio button. When you need assistance, you just press the service button.

he is the uncle that i have meet in the plane, and he have been to Korea fews year ago. He revisit Korea to relax his mind with his son and daughter after his wife just pass a way. Anyway i believe he will enjoy very well in Korea.


The LCD, it play the video of safety instruction before the plane take off. During the flight, it play movies. We can use TV audio device that beside seat to hear it.


My 1st meal ever on the plane, dinner and it is a great meal as well. the meal consist of Fried Rice, Satays, Jagung Jelly, Mineral water, orange juice, Ferrero Rocher And And

Unlimited Baskin Robbin!! and others Drink, Beer, Juice and so on. hehe so GOOD!!

and a special Box (just the box) of the meal set!! WOW!!
my 2nd meal on the plane, Breakfast. haha got Fruits, Yogurt, orange juice, bread, tea, Jam, butter, noodles, vegetable, and Beef. Hoho. After eat it all, i'm full!!

The time before my flight!! .

Anyonghasaeyo!!

Basically, talking about the time I spend on the airport is like the last time i spend with fews of my coursemates and everyone this year 2009. Because mostly i will be back in 2010.

The day before the flight day, I been invited to attend an ICT BBQ night. At there i spend time with ICT members and Seniors as well.

Later I spend with Terry and Jaron, and they said want to meet be before i go to Korea. so, i met them on 4am morning at kari Wantan Mee stall at Sea-park. and i think it is worth it, because it will be last time have the kari Wantan Mee this year 2009. Im so glad that both of they brought a Scarf for me as a present to Korea and I am very thankful even it is in a such an early morning.

In the morning after i wake up from bed, I talk to my roommate Soo Hee and Floormate Mr. Tiu Ken Yean. They told me lot of Korean thing, and some advice too!! I find it out useful as well..

During the afternoon, i get my ready with the baggage and i realise that i have a pair of Glove from my Buddy line!! ( 明福, Pheng Yoke and Chyee Tee), a poster from some of my course mate, Scarf from Terry and jaron, greating card from my close Martic Friend, Hung Wui!!

and others greating from Phone, Email and messenger.
thanks all of you!!

most of my coursemate send me till the K L Central station, i'm touch and understand your all situation. dun worry i'm fine with that. But there were 6 of my coursemate send me till KLIA!! i really cant believe it!! they were Shi Han, Choon Chet, Din Chai, Keng Hong, Pei See and Wei Yun and they all make me very touch till i still waving my hand to them till to the Pathform 8G. Thank you very much.

My next destination: Daejeon University,Korea

Hello all!

I will go to Korea for students exchange program upcoming month
(21st March 09).

Basically, this is an application that started on the Dec 2009 and I only notice the application on this year January. When i get to know about the application, i just leave 7 days to apply for it. During the process of completing the application, it is the busy week that I never had in my life for the application. Even it is just a simple application but actually I'm racing against the time. During the process, there are two friend that helping me on the grammar checking. I'm very thank you to them!! My exchange officer also help a lot on my application, she advice and motivate me to complete the application. Thank You.

With all the time, effort and hard work spend on the application, at last i get it!! worth it!
To be honest, I not really expecting to get selected on this program, i just give a best shot on it.
It is a extremely Shock moment when i getting a call from my exchange officer, i still remember that the call i received is after the Dr. Yang Lecture. But after that moment, there is lot of thing and feeling going through my mind about 1 week. My parent, course mate, college mate, school mate, lecturers, teachers, relatives, roommate, close friends, Matric mate, my study and so on, all of them going through my mind about 1000 time.

The next day, i been inform that i need to sign the contract to accept the offer and send to the Program coordinator by 20 Feb. Later i get some advice from my parents and friends about the decision that i have to make. Even i have advice from them, but i still feel it is a tough decision to make. This decision probably will be my another turning point of my life and it will be some slightly change in my future. After 3 hour of thinking, i decided to sign the contract and accept the offer.

The Next day, i decided to anounce about it to my course mate and college mate. and i get all of their response are in a SHOCK/ SURPRISE . if i am 1 of them i will feel shock as well. Thier response make me think about past experience that i have spend with them in Assignments, Lab, Presentation, projects, Class representative, argueing, having meal together, celebration, Swimming, Soccer, play around, Climb mountain together, drunk together, sleep together, shopping together, share hard feeling together, count down together and so so on. Actually all of the pass experienced really mean a lot to me and there is no chance for me to forget it.

Dont worry about me, i will do my best to adapt in korea. ; )
After 9 month i will be Back to University. so, is just 9 month, not a big deal. we will meet after 9 month time.
BUT dont forget to wish me luck!!
