  10. Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I am fine and nice to know that you heading to Jeju Island soon!

In term of geographically, it is not convenient to visit Nami Island after Jeju Island.

If Seoul is part of your itinerary, it is worth to pay a visit Nami Island because it is much more convenient to reach Nami Island from Seoul.

Let me know if you have more question or you could email me at alextyl[@]gmail[dot]com

I wish you have a great trip to Korea!

  16. Hi Lex,

thank you for the info, how much is the cost for bus, what is the bus number that i should use? I've search in the internet there is trolly bus at jeju that take you for 2 days trip and it cost KRW 59,000 won. Do you mean this bus or there is another bus? thank you.

    Liza

  17. Hi Liza.

For trolly bus, it is a bus tour operating by agency, you could find more information here. http://tbus.co.kr/y_dayt/y_dayt_1.php

The price of the bus tour is quite reasonable. The advantages of using private tour are, convenient, in order and you do not need to plan for your tour. But it may have limited time at each of the attraction.

While the bus that I mentioned was not private tour but it is a public buses that you will see in the bus terminal. Each trip cost like 1000 won to 3000 won depends on the distance.

Once, you plan where to go, you can check with the bus driver where you want to take off and driver will let you know when it is arrived. The bus also have english announcement. Check out the bus information here http://bus.jeju.go.kr/internet_2012_eng/bisb_bus/bus_020.jsp

    Happy planning, Liza.

  18. Hi, Lex

I'm planning to visit Korea in July next year. Is the weather really hot and humid just like Malaysia?

And I would like to know if it's possible to travel from KL to Busan, then Busan to Seoul, Seoul to Jeju, and lastly Seoul to KL. Besides taking flight from Seoul to Jeju, any other methods to get there?

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!! :D

    1. Hi Ze Yin Por,

Nice to hear that you are planning a visit to South Korea next year! During July, it will be summer time, as for the weather, it will be hot but slightly less humid than Malaysia :)

Is always possible to travel in the way you mention, as for Seoul to Jeju, flight is the best way with less time and distance. Other way is to take a bus or train to the south of Korea then take ferry across the sea but it will take many hours.

Cheer and happy planning. If you looking for more advice and recommendation, you can always write me at Stay Recommendation.

      Cheer!

    1. Hi Chzee Siong,

Thanks, I am glad it is helpful for your planning!

As for the Jeju Sea Women or in other words Jeju Women Divers, you can actually see it at the specific spot around the Seongsan Ilchubong, where a cliffs off to the left as you ascend, there is a stairwell down that leads to the performance place.

You could also go to the Haenyeo Museum (Museum of Women Divers) to check out the history of Women Divers in Jeju. There will be weekly cultural performance as well.

I hope you enjoy your trip and happy planning!
